Kabbalah Centre: The Oasis for Happiness and Transcendence

The Kabbalah centre was founded by Philip Berg in 1984. Previously, the teachings offered under this category had only been available to people over the age of 40 in the Jewish tradition and faith. He opened it up to ordinary people, and several celebrities have joined this bandwagon ever since.

It can be described as a non-profit organization that has on occasion helped the needy in several ways including getting funding for charity work in places like Malawi. Nowadays, they are teaching the kabbalistic mysteries to everyone, and the staff is composed of multi-ethnic and international people.

History Of The Kabbalah Center

So far, it has spread and the second one was built in Los Angeles in 1984. Right now, It has over 50 branches in several cities in most of North America and Canada.

The Teachings

This type of teaching would only be given if you had been having Hebrew lessons in the Jewish texts and then you’d be able to understand. Apparently, you can now skip all those parts and go to the Kabbalah straight.

This one states that all the branches of religion are branches of universal wisdom and learning Kabbalah which advocate itself as not belonging to any religion but supplementing them all, is important.

The Concept of Klippot

This is the concept that teaches we all have a way of rising above to the state of being metaphysical and join the world of light, apparently, The only thing blocking us is some angry and violent behavior assigned the name klippot.

By unblocking this, we rise.

Over the years several celebrities have turned up in this center and have received what they termed as a healing experience that helped them solve their problems. They include:

  • Madonna
  • Britney Spears
  • Mick Jagger
  • Ashton Kutcher
  • Lindsay Lohan
  • Rosie O’Donell
  • Paris Hilton
  • Ariana Grande

These teachings clearly helped them solve many personal problems and deal with life as celebrities and its facets.

Universal Wisdom and the Teachings of Kabbalah in the New World

Kabbalah, a spiritual movement born out of Jewish mysticism, has undergone a revival in recent years, particularly in the United States. At its core, it is a set of esoteric teachings designed to understand the relationship between the endless and eternal Ein Sof, the infinite creator, and God’s creation of the finite physical universe.

In the traditional method of Kabbalah, students had to undergo a deep study of Hebrew and Jewish texts and were not able to study until a later age, usually after they were already in their 40s. Today, with the resurgence of Kabbalah, its universal wisdom is no longer limited in this way, opening the door for women and men of all ages to study Kabbalistic doctrines.

Centers for study like the Kabbalah Centre, an international organization with locations around the world, help students to grow spiritually through the study of the Zohar and the wisdom found in the writings of 16th-century Kabbalist Rav Isaac Luria and other prominent writers.

The Zohar, or Book of Splendor, is the central sacred text of Kabbalistic wisdom. The book described cutting-edge scientific ideas and concepts that were considered heretical at the time. Kabbalists believe that the Zohar contains more than just spiritual wisdom and will ignite change and expand the consciousness of human beings around the world.

Through the reading of these texts, students of Kabbalah seek to understand the connection between the eternal creator and humanity, our purpose, and how to bring fulfillment into our lives. Educators like the Kabbalah Centre help seekers to understand the spiritual laws of the universe without dogma or the conventional structures of religion.

The Kabbalah Centre operates under the idea that every human is born with a potential for greatness. Rather than a scholarly study of ancient texts, the Centre focuses on practical use of the teachings in our everyday lives through five core principles: sharing, awareness and balance of the ego, spiritual laws, our connection to everything and everyone, and creating miracles by pushing past our comfort zone.

Through classes at its centers, weekly and monthly events, spiritual pilgrimages, online lectures, books and audio products, the Kabbalah Centre allows spiritual seekers from around the world access to this ancient wisdom while providing a safe space to build relationships and share experiences with others.
